what's been happening .... part 3

So we Land in NICE and go head to HERTZ to rent out car... We decided to drive all the way from Nice to the farm.  I had googled online and it said it would be 6hour 38min or so....  The roads are good, lots of tolls to go through, in the end we paid +-28Euro on toll gates... ai ai... thank goodness I had opted for dropping the car off at Toulouse airport instead of driving back to NICE. only paid 20EURO to do that!! not bad... Toulouse to the farm is just under 2hours away, so not too stressful for the return adventure.
                      
These are picts of the drive and the awesome rain clouds.... dont see those in Dubai.... And people in France can actually drive!!! can you believe, polite, everyone knows which lane they should be in... dont drive in the fast lane unless you taking over someone... its great and the speed limit it 130km/h  AWESOME!!!

Finally make it to the farm after 8hours of driving..... he he, few coffee and toilet breaks... we arrive just missing the biggest down pour ever... It was great to get out the car and smell the fresh air... mmmm wish i could write how it feels and the senses of it all...

Mamma Heidi made the best Pasta dish ever... Dave and I guzzeled it down like there was no tomorrow.. After a few glasses of French Red wine we hit the sack... man, I love our little home... Thank you Heidi and David.. you the best Parents in law ever... :-)

Next morning I wake up to my nasty looking spider bite, itching like crazy this picture does it not justis, as it was a few days after, but can you see the yellow around the red ai aia ai, those HONG KONG spiders.... little buggers...
